Room Reflection Time Calculator
This tool calculates two important aspects of room acoustics:
– First Reflection Time (how long it takes for the first sound bounce)
– RT60 Estimate (how long it takes for the reverb to decay by 60 dB)
Quick Notes:
- First Reflection Time tells you how quickly early reflections bounce back to your ears.
- RT60 helps you understand how “echoey” or “dead” your room will sound naturally.
- This is a basic estimate — real-world reverb is affected by furniture, wall material, carpeting, and more!
