How It Works (The Math)

The math is straightforward:

• A bar is made up of a set number of beats, determined by the top number of the time signature.
• For example, in 4/4, there are 4 beats per bar.
• To calculate bars:
  Bars = Total Beats ÷ Beats Per Bar

If you enter 156 beats with a time signature of 4/4, the formula becomes:
156 ÷ 4 = 39 bars
