About Producer Society
What Is Producer Society About?
Producer Society is a website featuring music production tutorials for the most popular DAWs on the market, including Garageband, GarageBand iOS, FL Studio Mobile and FL Studio, and Logic Pro for iPad.
But that’s not all. Producer Society is a one-stop online location for music producers and musicians who want to learn about production techniques, mixing, recording, mobile production, social media, and music theory as well.
You can find a lot of content about music theory and how to apply it, including scales and chords, songwriting, and other disciplines, as well as how to market your music to the masses using platforms like YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Soundcloud, TikTok, and Instagram.
The Aim Of Producer Society
The fundamental goal of Producer Society is to take a beginner music producer’s hand and walk them all the way from the beginning where you’re just figuring out how to record at home, to being able to make music independently using some of the most popular DAWs.
This includes collaborating with other producers and musicians, learning to market your work online, and ultimately being able to make a living from their work, all without having to spend money on expensive degrees or certifications which may or may not be helpful
When looking at other tutorials online, it’s not uncommon for them to be somewhat incomplete. In other words, it’s almost as if they show you the path, but just part of the way, and you end up feeling lost in the dark halfway.
Producer Society, however, has useful diagrams and custom images that help you with every step. Each image is created by the author of the website, including helpful captions so you don’t get lost in translation.
Additionally, there’s a YouTube channel for this website called andrewmusikx, which belongs to the sole creator, Andrew Siemon. Around 70% of the articles come with a YouTube video for more help and walk-throughs.
Rather than trying to confuse readers with sophisticated terminology that only a certain sub-section of audio engineers understand, Producer Society aims to teach concepts, practices, and principles, in a way that everyone can understand, including total beginners, intermediate users, and so on.
Each post on the site is different from other music production sites in the sense that there are step-by-step guides for how to do nearly everything. The site covers a ton of different topics, including mixing, DAW-Mastering, beat-making, recording, and general music production.
Furthermore, I’m active in the site’s comment section, including in my YouTube channel’s comments section as well. If you have any specific inquiries, questions, or suggestions, you can post them on them either in the comment section on this site, or on Reddit, and I’ll do my best to get back to you.
The Future Of Producer Society
Eventually, Producer Society will have its own community and forum where members can share tips and information on how to become the best producer and musician possible.
